This Privacy Policy explains how Daddymi ("Daddymi", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Daddymi mobile and web application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, and optional profile picture.
- Messages & media: messages, photos, voice notes, and files you send, stored so we can deliver them to recipients.
- Call metadata: participants, start/end time, and call type. Call audio and video are streamed peer-to-peer and are not recorded by us.
- Presence: online status and last-seen time while you have the App open.
- Device & log data: device identifiers, app version, IP address, crash logs, and diagnostic information needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Permissions you grant: microphone, camera, notifications, and storage — used only for the feature you invoke (e.g. sending a voice note, joining a call).
2. How we use your information
- Deliver messages and calls to the people you choose.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Send service emails (password reset, account changes).
- Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and safety issues.
- Diagnose bugs and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use the content of your messages for advertising.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Daddymi — our hosting and database provider, our real-time call provider, and our transactional email provider. Each handles data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users, especially in matters related to child safety (CSAE/CSAM).
4. Your choices and rights
- Edit your display name and profile picture at any time.
- Control online status and read receipts in Privacy & Security.
- Clear cached data and downloads in Data & Storage.
- Request account deletion by emailing privacy@daddymi.com. We will erase your account, messages, and media within 30 days.
- Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, port, or restrict processing of your personal data.
5. Data retention
Messages and media remain until you or your conversation partner delete them, or you delete your account. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Daddymi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them. See our Child Safety Standards for our CSAE/CSAM policy and reporting channels.
8. International users
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
